Stay At Home Life

Oh my goodness! I meant to post much more frequently than this! It's been busy, and here I naively thought I'd have so much time to be happy housemaker and crafty crafter. A is very high maintenance (I know, I know, she's not even two and a half yet, what do I expect). So my quiet time is when she naps, she's usually pretty good, she sleeps for about two hours, and A even slept for three hours last Friday. So in the two hours, I try to cram in a little me time, chore time, and task time.

My house is by no means spotless, but it's not bad. My task as of late is home made dinosaur costumes for the girls. C is currently obsessed with dinosaurs, and said she wants to be a dinosaur for Halloween. A hasn't really had an opinion, but monkey see, monkey do, so I made her a matching one. They are by no means fancy, but I have a love/hate relationship with my sewing machine, so I did most of it by hand while catching up on tv (Walking Dead, Revenge, Parenthood, I know, eclectic) even though it took much longer.

I'll post pics after Halloween. I used tutorials from this site and this site, and I think the costumes turned out pretty good.

And my new stay at home life has been good. I am definitely less stressed. I think this will be good for me and the family.

I'm really hoping to keep up with this blogging. For now it is just for a reader of one, me, ha. I need to spruce up my blog and learn to use the blogger site to its full capacity, and then I hope to write down my thoughts, not always just a narration of how staying at home has been. I think this will be good for me, it's been a long time since I have written.

Have a great day!
